My wife has asked me to put it down 14 times today
Bought this as a desk toy. It is now the only thing I do. The bearing is stupidly smooth, one flick and it spins for ages, and the LED tip in a dark room looks like you’re casting a spell. Machined metal, decent weight, doesn’t feel like a $3 toy. Already ordered a second one because my 9 year old “borrowed” the first.

Zoom meetings have never been more productive
I spin this under the desk during every call now. Silent, which is the main thing. The light trails are addictive, I keep turning my lamp off just to watch it. Came with the little USB charger and a full charge lasts me a couple of days of heavy use. Tip: flick it off your middle finger, not your thumb, it goes way faster.

The 3am purchase I don’t regret
Saw it on TikTok, bought it half asleep, forgot about it, then it showed up and I’ve been grinning like an idiot ever since. The light is way brighter than I expected, almost a torch. Learned the finger-roll trick in about 10 minutes. My mates at work are now all buying one. Shipping to Brisbane took 5 days.

Replaced my pen clicking habit
I was the guy in the office with the clicky pen. Everyone hated me. This is completely silent and gives the same fidget fix. Fits in a pocket, hasn’t scratched my phone. The blue LED looks great at the pub. Only warning: you WILL drop it on a tile floor and it WILL be fine, mine has survived about 20.

Grandad thinks it’s a lightsaber
Got it as a stocking filler for my 70 year old dad. He has now shown it to every person who has come through the door including the Uber Eats driver. Light turns on with a twist, no fiddly button. Battery is still going after two weeks of him “demonstrating” it. Very good value for the laughs alone.

Took it camping, it was the hit of the trip
Zero phone reception, no fire ban, and this thing became the entertainment. Spin it in the dark and you get these perfect light rings. Kids were fighting over it. Shrugged off dirt, sand and a dunk in the esky water. The clip is solid, lives on my keyring now.

Didn’t expect to love a metal stick this much
It’s a stick. With a light. That spins. And somehow I’ve spent more time with it than my PlayStation this month. Feels like something out of a watch shop, not a novelty bin. Comes in a nice little tin so it’s an easy gift. Order one, you’ll understand within thirty seconds of opening it.
